Reduce transit accessibility and service in the Broadway corridor
- Bus service will be reduced in the corridor
- Translink will funnel other transit routes onto Broadway
- The number of stops along the corridor will be reduced
- Underground stations will cause accessibility challenges and delays for all users
- Subways reduce transit network opportunities
Increase crowding on the transit system
- Trains that are currently being used on the Expo Line, the Millennium Line and the Evergreen Line will be reallocated to the Broadway Subway, reducing service on those lines and increasing crowding
- Additional trains have not been costed, budgeted or ordered
